The First Two Kings of Israel: Saul vs. David and God's Chosen King
In this video, we explore the transition of power from Saul to David, the first two kings of Israel. Saul, from the tribe of Benjamin, was rejected by God for his disobedience, while David, a shepherd from the tribe of Judah, was anointed by God for his heart of obedience. Through the story of Samuel's anointing of David, we see a powerful lesson in God's preference for the heart over outward appearance. As we examine these two kings, we also see how their reigns point to the greater fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the true King.
