Joshua's Journey: From the Promised Land to Prophetic Parallels with Jesus
In this video, we explore the book of Joshua and its deep connections to the story of Jesus. We reflect on how both Jesus and Joshua share the same name, "God saves," and how Joshua leading the Israelites into the Promised Land mirrors the salvation that Jesus offers. We also look at the story of Rahab, who hid the spies and was spared when Jericho fell—her story symbolizing how we are saved through the blood of Jesus. Finally, we examine Joshua's leadership and his connection to Moses, revealing how Joshua foreshadows Jesus. The key takeaway is that, just as Rahab was saved by the scarlet cord, we are saved through the blood of Jesus.
