Understanding the Overlapping Prophets: Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel
The Bible’s timeline isn’t always presented in chronological order, making it easy to miss key connections. In this video, we explore how the ministries of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel overlapped, even though their books appear in a different sequence. Jeremiah, the seasoned prophet in Jerusalem, warned of Babylonian captivity, while Ezekiel, a younger prophet, delivered God's message to the exiles in Babylon. Daniel’s story begins earlier than Ezekiel's but extends beyond both Jeremiah's and Ezekiel's. Understanding these overlaps can transform the way we read prophetic books, making Scripture clearer and more cohesive. (Jeremiah 1:1-3, Ezekiel 1:1-3, Daniel 1:1-6).
