How to Read the Prophets: Understanding Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel

How do we read the prophets—Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Minor Prophets—so we truly understand their message and how they point to Christ? This video unpacks the dual nature of prophecy: its immediate relevance to Israel’s time and its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus. Using Isaiah 7:14 and its connection to Matthew 1:23, we see how prophecy works in layers—first as a message to King Ahaz and later as a sign of Christ’s coming. By asking key questions—who is speaking, who are they speaking to, and what is the prophetic fulfillment—we can better grasp God’s Word. Dive into the rich layers of biblical prophecy and see how it all leads to Jesus!
